Feminism related art

This can represent several things one interpretation which I have considered is that it can represent when a woman is giving birth as it can not only provide a home for the child for 9 months prior to the birth, but it can also give off a meaning that the women of the 50’s and 60’s never really stopped no matter what, they also went shopping and cleaned the home as they often never had a job, but they did this no matter what.

Feminism related art

This is the tent which Emin used for her piece, this again is very unusual piece as it pushed the boundaries of what was done before, this would go against everything what was stereotypically ‘lady like’ as many people used to and in some cases think that a woman should not express who she has had sexual encounters with as it is very ‘unladylike’

The war on terror

This is a novel based upon the aftermath of 9/11 and focuses specifically on a young boy who lost his father during the attack on the world trade centre and shows how the young boy deals with what happened on 9/11 and focusing on what happened around the events.

Terrorism related art

This image represents again New York city during the time of September the 11th and the terrorist attacks on the twin towers, these have been represented by demons with wings, which a lot of the public would have thought the planes were demons and sent to cause panic and turmoil for the public. it also shows bodies on the floor and some firefighters or volunteers helping to recover the injured and bodies of the dead from the wreckage.

Terrorism related art

This image shows how some people's different representations or ideas about 9/11 as this one shows two children blindfolded about to throw a model airplane at two people stood representing the twin towers and the image ultimately shows what happened on 11th of September at the world trade centre and there are people on the floor, possibly representing the families of those who lost their lives in the attacks or possibly the rest of new york city as the buildings were weeping for their city.

Research

Another example of propaganda posters which i have found is this one by F.G Sugelhard, this poster is from world war 1 and was used in Germany to discredit the Russians, but it was more of a tool to scare the civilians of Germany into thinking that Russia could rejoin the war.

This blog is extremely helpful when i am looking for new materials and new ideas for the project
http://blog.guerrillacomm.com/

Follow this link and you will see some campaigns which have inspired me to think of doing this kind of campaign within my work.
This video shows how marketing has evolved into guerrilla marketing over the years it also shows me insight on how i could create a penultimate final piece of work for my project or just inspire me to actually create my own product and market it as my project.
